Event Details
For more than 20 years, CCC has been collecting and analyzing data on the well-being of children in New York City and on the supports and services that help address their needs. Our goal is to drive informed conversations and decisions by New York City’s child-serving community on the policies, programs and practices that impact the lives of children and families.
On May 15th, CCC will host a briefing to discuss how data can be used to improve outcomes for children and families in New York City. Included in the event will be:
An overview of CCC’s recent community-driven data collection efforts in Brownsville, Brooklyn which led to our new report titled, “From Strengths to Solutions: An Asset-Based Approach to Meeting Community Needs in Brownsville.”
A panel discussion with participants from organizations in Brownsville to discuss how they are using data to bring about change for the children, youth and families they serve and for the community as a whole.
The panelists will be:
James Brodick, Director of the Brownsville Community Justice Center, Center for Court Innovation
Tonya Gayle, Chief Development Officer, Green City Force
Amy Gedal Douglass, DrPH, MPH, Director of Implementation and Improvement at NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Mental Health Innovation Lab
