Event Details
CCC’s Associate Executive Director, Stephanie Gendell, discussed her leadership journey as the guest speaker at the 2012 Eleanor Roosevelt Girls Leadership Worldwide Program Dinner.
Thirty-six girls (ages 14-16) from around the world were chosen to participate in the 2012 summer session of the Eleanor Roosevelt Girls Leadership Worldwide Program. The girls were chosen because of their values of leadership, community spirit and sensitivity to social injustice- the essence of Eleanor Roosevelt’s legacy.
Stephanie spoke about how her passion for child welfare began when she was a teenager and of her journey since she was 14 years old. Stephanie also spoke of Eleanor Roosevelt, one of CCC’s co-founders, and our mission to ensure every child is healthy, housed, educated and safe.
