2020 Census: Protecting Vulnerable New Yorkers Through a Fair & Accurate Count
February 6, 2019
8:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Event Details
Are you an educator, after-school provider, or part of another social service organization that serves children? Are you concerned about what a census undercount means for your program, students or community?
Join Citizens’ Committee for Children & the New York Counts 2020 Coalition for an interactive forum about the upcoming Census!
For leaders and staff in child and family serving programs in communities throughout the city — including early education programs, youth programs, schools, community-based organizations, and faith-based organizations — we will provide information and resources on how you can engage the children and parents you serve, as well as your staff, in the 2020 Census.
Interactive breakout sessions will be held targeted for individuals who work with young children and their families, individuals who work with adolescents and their families, and individuals looking for information to engage their staff, colleagues and peers, with tools developed by New York Counts 2020 coalition members and Scholastic.
Registration for this event is now closed. If you would like to attend, please email emurphy@cccnewyork.org
