CCC’s Summary of New York State Fiscal Year 2012-2013 Executive Budget Proposals

The New York State Executive Budget for State Fiscal Year 2012-2013 proposes to continue much-needed reforms to the Juvenile Justice System, permanently amend the child welfare financing statute to reimburse counties at a lower rate, fund the child care block grant with $93 million in state funds rather than federal funds and maintain funding levels for a variety of child-serving programs.
