Testifying for kids and families

CCC’s policy staff often attend state and city hearings to weigh in on various issues of importance to New York City children and families. Catch up on some of our staff’s most recent testimony:

• New York State Executive Budget Public Protection Hearing in support of raising the age of criminal responsibility
• Supportive Housing in New York City in support of increasing the number of supportive housing units available for homeless families and youth aging out of foster care
• Reducing Food Insecurity in New York City in support of strengthening the anti-hunger safety net and expanding efforts to increase access to healthy, affordable food in food deserts.
