October 7, 2013 Inspiring stories from extraordinary advocates making change for childrenWhere can you hear inspiring stories from extraordinary advocates making change for children in New York City, around the country, and around the globe? At CCC’s Celebration Breakfast on October 30th featuring a keynote address by Ronan Farrow, award presentations to Agnes Gund, Abigail Disney, Child Welfare Organizing Project and hundreds of dedicated advocates and concerned New Yorkers gathered together to celebrate the goal that unites us – a better New York for our city’s children. Our 2013 Breakfast promises to be a very special morning. We invite you to be a part of that special morning and a part of our collective story. Join us to hear:
We say it all the time, but our annual Celebration Breakfast event really puts it into focus: The work of child advocacy is the work of all of us making our world a better place– and that starts with making the world a better place for children. It takes dedicated people to make government policy responsive to the needs of children. And it takes stories of hope and change to inspire us to do more. In that spirit, we gather every year to celebrate child advocacy and exceptional advocates, and be energized for the work ahead. Help Make New York City a Better Place for Children With one third of New York City’s 2 million children living in poverty, this inspiration and energy is critical as CCC continues to fight for the crucial programs and services that help all children be healthy, housed, educated and safe. Please join us and be inspired. | Comments |
