Carlos Rosales joined CCC as the Community Outreach & Engagement Associate to focus on cultivating and strengthening relationships with CCC’s community-based partners, child and family service providers, neighborhood alliances, faith-based organizations, and the children and families living in New York City. Carlos brings a range of dynamic experiences over the last 8+ years including facilitation, partnership development, and participatory community engagement approaches. Carlos also serves on the Board for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, elected as Board Co-Chair for the organization. In his previous role, Carlos was the Facilitator and Network Manager for South Bronx Rising Together: working to improve education and kindergarten readiness outcomes for children in the South Bronx. He’s served as a consultant and worked for various organizations including The Center for Human Development and Family Services, Humanities Action Lab: States of Incarceration and NYC Parks GreenThumb. His experience in advocacy work include community engagement, education, mental health, foster care, incarceration, Latinx/Immigrant community, and LGBTQ issues. Carlos received his Bachelor of Arts in Politics and History at Ithaca College. He holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from The New School.
